Sunlight and skin health
There are three sources of nutrition which you could get it for free but it is very important for the health, they are water, air and sunlight. Water might not be free, you might need to pay for clean and healthy water, the same things also happen to air. Although air are free, but getting a clean air, sometimes you should go to village or mountain which have less pollutions.
While sunlight are free of charge, ideally you could get it just by stepping outside, in sunny season circumstances. Sunlight is an important nutrients essential for health. Sunlight help your skin to synthesize Vitamin D. Vitamin D is needed to absorb calcium in the gut. Calcium is needed for strong bones. Because of lack of sunlight can lead to fragility of bone. In children these symptoms comes in the form of rachitis and osteoporosis in older people.

Selenium and Diabetes
Scientists have found evidence that older men with higher levels of selenium are less likely to suffer from dysglycemia, or improper blood-sugar metabolism.
Tasnime Akbaraly, from the University of Montpellier in France, and colleagues studied 1,162 French adults for nine years, checking their levels of selenium and monitoring whether they developed blood-sugar problems.
According to their report, published online in the journal Nutrition & Metabolism, elderly men whose selenium concentrations were in the top one-third had a significantly lower risk. Read the rest of this entry »
Stay fit, Stay healthy
You might get bored with what people say everyday, that to get healthy, exercises are the answer. Although that statement is true, but to exercise everyday is a hard thing to do, especially for a busy person. Staying healthy with working in gym on hours might get you stressful and pain every where, but the results are not like what you expected.
The main cause of it is nutrition, how hard you try on gym, if you didn’t combine it with diet nutrition, it would be worthless. Bone Health and Vitamin D
For years, the media have trumpeted the vital role calcium plays in preventing osteoporosis, a silent disease of the bones that makes them weaken and prone to fracture.
The calcium clamor is so loud it sometimes drowns out messages about another nutritional necessity – vitamin D. Without enough vitamin D, the body cannot absorb calcium and deposit it in the bones. In such cases, the blood raids the skeleton for the calcium it needs, thus raising the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.
